About Big Inflow Exports
Built by people who know
the crop, not just the market.
Big Inflow Exports started with a simple frustration: too many smallholder farmers were growing world-class coffee and beans, and getting paid like it wasn't. We set out to close that gap.
Our story
Grown from the same soil we export from.
Big Inflow Exports is headquartered in Nairobi, with sourcing relationships across Kenya's coffee highlands and the French bean farms around Mount Kenya. What began as work with a handful of cooperatives has grown into a full export operation — grading, packing, and shipping produce to buyers across Europe, the UK, and the Middle East.
We're deliberately a two-crop company. Coffee and French beans move on different calendars, different freight routes, and different quality standards, and we've built our grading, storage, and logistics around both rather than spreading thin across everything Kenya grows.
What we believe
- Farmers should see the value their grade earns on arrival, not just at the farm gate.
- Traceability isn't paperwork for its own sake — it's what lets a buyer trust a bag they've never seen grown.
- An export company's real product is reliability: the same grade, the same documents, the same delivery window, every time.
Where we source
Two crops, two highland regions.
Coffee — Central Highlands
Smallholder plots and cooperative wet mills across Kirinyaga, Nyeri, and Kiambu, sitting between 1,500 and 2,100 metres — altitude that gives the cherry time to develop the acidity and depth Kenyan Arabica is known for.
French Beans — Mount Kenya Belt
Contract farms in the well-watered slopes around Meru and Embu, chosen for soils and irrigation that support the fast, tender growth extra-fine beans need, with farms close enough to Nairobi for same-day airfreight handling.
Standards we hold ourselves to
Certification and compliance, placeholders for now.
Add your actual certifications here — KEPHIS phytosanitary clearance, GlobalG.A.P., Fairtrade, organic certification, or HACCP, whichever apply to your operation.
